Ceramic Bowl Making
The lands on which we live are of particular significance in terms of history, geography and arts. These lands have also become an inseparable part of human life, and became a material shaped by the humanity. It is thought that the earliest pottery emerged when a basket lined with clay became watertight after falling into fire. The idea of making a bowl is inspired by the form that appears when two palms are brought together. This idea has transformed and evolved over time into tableware that we use today.
The aim of this course is to enable participants to create the form of a bowl using their hands and fingers.
